Original motifs like wasps, dragonflies, peonies, fish, and leaves are drawn in-house and built into the fabric before the silhouette is even considered. The print is not added to the outfit. It is the outfit. That distinction is what separates a Shahin Mannan co-ord from everything else on the rack. No two motifs are borrowed, no two pieces look like they belong to anyone else's collection.

The Craft Behind the Collection

Shahin Mannan's co-ord sets are built across three formats: shirt or tee with bell-bottom pants, overlay with circular or asymmetric skirt, and cape with bell-bottom pants. Each format exists to give the motif the room it needs to read properly. The construction follows the print, not the other way around. Fabrics are chosen for how they hold hand embroidery, not for how they photograph on a hanger.
The Wasp T-Shirt with Bell Bottom Pants is black Japanese crepe with an embroidered wasp motif, relaxed fit, matching bell-bottom pants, the embroidery doing all the talking. The Dragonfly In Line Overlay with Circular Skirt takes the same design thinking into flamingo pink twill denim, hand-embroidered dragonflies running in line, contrast colour facing, and a full circular skirt that gives the overlay room to move. Two entirely different looks, one consistent design conviction behind both.
